Hello, my name is Mandy.

I began my journey in Hairdressing as a Saturday Girl in Watford, London. From there I joined Glemby International and worked exclusively with Loreal. With Salons in England, this gave me my first glimpse into the world of hair. I wanted to learn everything hair related.

From Glemby, I began my next step within the industry in Andrea’s of Wembley, working closely with Wella school, where I gained all my Qualifications in hairdressing. The first 20 years of my career were spent working and improving my skills in London based salons and schools, such as:

L'Oreal
Aveda

I moved into the area 18 years ago, and I have now been working within beautiful Oundle for 15 years.

The time had come for me to progress on to the next level of my career to create a space for me to offer what I have learned and to offer services and products that I believe in and that I believe my clients will enjoy.

I wish to pass on to the next generation of hairdressers some of the skills and knowledge I have achieved and gained within my own career.

Passionate about Hairdressing. Excites me still to this day to learn new techniques and methods in this industry's changing face.

Studio 36 team works hard on a daily basis to keep fresh and current, so we aim to be at the top of our game. We know we are then giving our 100% to our clients.

Along with our manageress Steph. We now have 2 full-time stylists, myself and Lauren, also our newly qualified junior stylist Sophie, who is a great addition to our team.

As the manageress of our full-service hair salon, Steph is dedicated to creating a welcoming and seamless beauty experience for every client. In addition to overseeing our hair care team, she is also a newly qualified nail technician for our in-salon nail and pedicure services, ensuring that guests can enjoy everything from a fresh haircut from the hairdressers to a relaxing manicure or spa pedicure in one convenient location. Steph's goal is to maintain a high standard of service across all departments so every client leaves feeling confident, refreshed, and cared for

Sophie is our Junior Stylist here at Hair at Studio36. She has been in the hair industry for 3 years and qualified for her Level 3 NVQ in May 2025. She competed in many competitions when she was at college, and came 3rd in the AHT Midland bridal hair up competition. Sophie's passion is hairdressing, but the thing she loves the most is styling hair, whether it’s bouncy blow-outs, hair ups, or curls. Her favourite Aveda products are the Miraculous Oil, the Abundant Blow-out, and the Botanical Repair Flash Treatment.
