Hello, my name is Mandy.

I began my journey in Hairdressing as a Saturday Girl in Watford, London. From there I joined Glemby International and worked exclusively with Loreal. With Salons in England, this gave me my first glimpse into the world of hair. I wanted to learn everything hair related.

From Glemby, I began my next step within the industry in Andrea’s of Wembley, working closely with Wella school, where I gained all my Qualifications in hairdressing. The first 20 years of my career were spent working and improving my skills in London based salons and schools, such as:

Clynol
L'Oreal
Aveda

I moved into the area 18 years ago, and I have now been working within beautiful Oundle for 15 years.

The time had come for me to progress on to the next level of my career to create a space for me to offer what I have learned and to offer services and products that I believe in and that I believe my clients will enjoy.

I wish to pass on to the next generation of hairdressers some of the skills and knowledge I have achieved and gained within my own career.

Passionate about Hairdressing. Excites me still to this day to learn new techniques and methods in this industry's changing face.

Studio 36 team works hard on a daily basis to keep fresh and current, so we aim to be at the top of our game. We know we are then giving our 100% to our clients.

Along with our manageress Steph. We now have 1 full-time stylist, myself, and our newly qualified junior stylist Sophie, who is a great addition to our team.

Steph is now a newly qualified nail technician. Studio 36 also features our part-time senior stylists. Yasmin, who is in every week on selected days, and Stacey, who occasionally visits the salon to offer her services.

Stacey has been a hairdresser for 18 years. Her time is split between Italy and the UK, returning every six weeks to work. She has previously owned a salon in Wansford for 11 years before moving to Australia back in 2020. As well as being a head colourist for some top salons, she has worked for L'Oreal & Redken, working as an artist and an educator, also helping with catwalks and photoshoots, including Vogue & Alexander McQueen. She has also won the Hairdresser of the Year award in 2015 for NIHA.

Yasmin is one of our Salon Directors here at Hair at Studio36. With over 23 years of experience, for Yasmin, hairdressing is an obsession. She has done lots of session styling in different cities, specialising in bridal hair.
Yasmin loves working alongside Aveda, not only are their products and colours the best, but she also admires their mission to care for the world we live in using naturally derived ingredients, and most importantly, they have the Leaping Bunny cruelty-free International certificate.
She looks forward to completing her master's in colouring at the Aveda Covent Garden Lifestyle and Spa.

Sophie is our Junior Stylist here at Hair at Studio36. She has been in the hair industry for 3 years and qualified for her Level 3 NVQ in May 2025. She competed in many competitions when she was at college, and came 3rd in the AHT Midland bridal hair up competition. Sophie's passion is hairdressing, but the thing she loves the most is styling hair, whether it’s bouncy blow-outs, hair ups, or curls. Her favourite Aveda products are the Miraculous Oil, the Abundant Blow-out, and the Botanical Repair Flash Treatment.
